Xiaomi 15 Ultra Goes Global: Exclusive Confirms World Wide Launch

Xiaomi 15 Ultra: A Global Launch on the Horizon?
In February last year, Xiaomi unveiled its 14 Ultra smartphone in China, followed by a global debut at MWC in Barcelona. Fans of the brand have been eagerly awaiting news on the 15 Ultra’s global availability. Now, thanks to Lu Weibing, Xiaomi Group Partner and President, we have a confirmation: yes, the 15 Ultra will be available globally!
Timing and Global Launch
In a video Q&A with Chinese fans, Lu revealed that the 15 Ultra will be officially launched after the Chinese New Year, which falls on January 29, 2025. Although there’s a public holiday in China from February 4, don’t expect an announcement during that period. We’ve also heard rumors that the global launch might take place during MWC in Barcelona again, potentially in late February or early March.
What to Expect from the Xiaomi 15 Ultra
The device is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 2K OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
