Vivo X200 Review: Expert Verdict and Performance Analysis

vivo X200: A High-End Smartphone that’s Missing the Bells and Whistles

Are you wondering why you’d opt for a Pro or Ultra model when the vanilla vivo X200 is already a great choice? This review will help you decide.

A Powerful Smartphone with a Compromised Camera

The vivo X200 packs a punch with its powerful Mediatek Dimensity 9400 chipset, massive 5800mAh battery, and fast 90W charging. But, it’s missing some features that its higher-end siblings offer. For instance, the X200 doesn’t have a 200MP telephoto camera, but it does come with a 50MP 3x zoom unit with close focusing capabilities.

What’s Missing from the X200?

In addition to the camera, the X200’s display is slightly less capable than the Pro model, with a 60Hz minimum refresh rate and no Dolby Vision support. The fingerprint reader is also optical, whereas the Pro model features an ultrasonic one.

Unboxing the vivo X200

Our review unit arrived in a sleek graphite-colored cardboard box, complete with a 90W charger. The presentation may vary depending on your region, and the contents will certainly differ – there’s no adapter in EU-bound boxes. Our unit came bundled with a UK-style 90W charger.
