A Very Merry Audio Emoji Update

Following the spooky vibes of Halloween, the latest round of Pixel Audio Emoji brings Christmas magic to your phone. The Party Popper emoji has been replaced by a Christmas Tree, accompanied by the jingling sounds of sleigh bells and the iconic Santa’s sleigh. Meanwhile, the Crying Face emoji has been temporarily traded for Fireworks, complete with a rocket ship that’s out of this world!

What’s New in Version 156

Video Calling: The Future is Now

In addition to the Audio Emoji update, Phone by Google is testing a more prominent video call button. This feature is currently available on select devices, with reports of a new button in the top-right corner of the screen. The same icon, but much more prominent – a game-changer for seamless video calling experience.
