Huawei Mate XT Ultimate: A Tri-Fold Revolution
The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate is finally headed west. The Chinese phone manufacturer has announced a global launch, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Huawei revealed a launch event for February 18th in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in a teaser posted to Weibo. This marks the official global debut of the first-ever tri-fold smartphone.
Design and Features
The Mate XT Ultimate boasts a unique design that sets it apart from its foldable competitors. It features a regular 6.4-inch smartphone, a 7.9-inch book-style foldable, and a 10.2-inch OLED tablet in one. At just 4.8mm at its thickest point when unfolded, it’s impressively thin. You’ll also find 66W wired charging and 50W wired charging capabilities.
Performance
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Kirin 9010 processor, accompanied by 256GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a periscope zoom camera.
