Fortnite Chapter 6: Demon Hunters Arrive This Saturday

The wait is almost over, as Fortnite’s next chapter is set to drop this Saturday, bringing with it a slew of exciting new features. Chapter 6 Season 1 promises a fresh start, with a new battle pass, improved movement mechanics, and fresh maps to explore.

As the wind blows, a new island emerges, shrouded in mystery and mystical energy. "Great heroes must rise to drive back the ancient evils that roam this land," according to an Epic Games blog post. "Become a ronin and cut through the darkness to find the light in Fortnite Battle Royale."

New Locations and Movement Mechanics

Warrior’s Watch, Flooded Frogs, Shogun’s Solitude, and Seaport City are just a few of the new locations awaiting discovery. These areas boast cherry blossoms, spiritual forces, and timeworn magic, providing a perfect backdrop for demon hunters to prove their worth.

Chapter 6 also introduces Ledge Jump, Roll Landing, Wall Kick, and Wall Scramble to Fortnite’s core movement system. These new features will be universally applied across Battle Royale, Reload, and Creator-made islands, offering greater mobility and fluidity.

Godzilla Skin and Battle Pass

And, of course, who could forget the highly anticipated Godzilla skin? "Become a true Titan as Godzilla!" The Godzilla Evolved Outfit will be available from Battle Pass Quests in January, with the battle pass available to progress until February 21.

Early leaks have already given us a glimpse of Godzilla’s capabilities in Fortnite. As it turns out, it’s mostly just dancing – with a penchant for the Get Griddy emote and even a bit of the Celebrate Me dance.
