The LG OLED65G4 is a close contender for the best LG TV out there, but not without its flaws. The picture performance is almost brilliant, with the exception of a slight green tint affecting film modes. While this may not be noticeable in our usual test content, it’s still a issue for a TV in this price range. Despite this, the LG G4 OLED still manages to deliver a rich, balanced image with excellent HDR performance. The motion processing is also impressively clear and detailed, with upscaled lower than 4K resolution offering impressive levels of detail, clarity, and sharpness.
Gaming and Sound:
The LG OLED65G4 is also a strong performer in the gaming department, with support for 4K/144Hz, VRR, and ALLM across all HDMI inputs. The TV’s audio performance is also improved, with a warmer and weightier sound that’s better at handling dialogue. While it’s not yet perfect, the LG G4 OLED is still a solid choice for those seeking a premium TV experience.
