Unleash the Unbridled Off-Road Beast: Jeep Wagoneer S Campaign Redefines Dirty Beauty
Jeep’s Electric Adventure: Unleashing the Beast in the Wild
Stellantis wants us to know that, even in a premium electric version, a Jeep is still a Jeep. And that’s exactly what their latest marketing campaign for the Jeep Wagoneer S EV is all about: showcasing this luxurious SUV’s untamed spirit.
The new campaign, set to launch on TV during Netflix’s Christmas Day NFL games, doesn’t shy away from its message: that a Jeep can still be, well, dirty. In fact, it’s all about embracing the great outdoors and its rugged, adventurous side.
Breaking the Mold with Luxury
The Wagoneer S EV is set to hit dealerships in January 2025, but we’re already getting a sneak peek at its luxurious interior features, complete with faux-leather seats and three screens for instrument, infotainment, and entertainment displays. But don’t let its sleek design fool you – this Jeep is made for the great outdoors.
As Bob Broderdorf, senior VP of Jeep North America, puts it, "Jeep vehicles, even one as stunning as the Wagoneer S, look even better when they’re muddy." And that’s exactly what this electric SUV does: it breaks free from luxury stereotypes and pushes the boundaries of electric capability.
Unleashing the Beast
With its 100kWh battery pack, the Wagoneer S offers 300 miles of driving range and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. And with Jeep’s Selec-Terrain options, drivers can switch between auto, sport, eco, snow, and sand modes to suit their adventurous mood.
Stellantis’ marketing campaign for the Wagoneer S echoes similar themes used in their ads for the Dodge’s first-ever EV, the Daytona Charger. But while that ad highlighted pro-nature themes, the Wagoneer S is all about embracing its wild side.
So, is this electric Jeep the perfect companion for your next off-road adventure? The proof is in the mud – or should I say, the dirt?
