Unleash the Ultimate Affordable Field Watch Revolution
Baltic’s Hermétique Tourer: A Quirky Field Watch Enters Its Bronze Age
The Rise of the Microbrand
Baltic, a French microbrand, has been consistently making waves in the affordable watch scene, often finding itself at the top of lists highlighting the best affordable watch brands. After experiencing their craftsmanship firsthand at Windup New York, I understand why this brand has gained such popularity.
Baltic’s designs are stunning, with exceptional finishing and execution for the price point. They’ve explored a range of styles, from vintage-inspired pieces like the iconic Aquascaphe to more experimental designs like the Prismic and MR, which feature unusual elements like micro-rotors.
Introducing the Hermétique Tourer
The Hermétique Tourer is arguably Baltic’s most unique watch, and one of its best. It’s a field watch like no other, with bold floating markers made of solid lume, an integrated crown, and polished steel “blades” surrounding its multi-layered dial. The watch initially launched in stainless steel last year, standing out among the sea of similar field watches.
Bronze Beauty
Baltic has now introduced three new versions of the Hermétique Tourer, each with a 37mm case made of bronze CuAl8, a copper-aluminum alloy. These new iterations feature blue, green, and brown colorways, making the quirky field watch even more distinct.
