Unleash the Power of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Where Software Innovation Thrives

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: A Step Forward in Software, but Questions Remain About AI
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is one of the best phones on the market, and its recent software update is a significant improvement over its predecessor. With the launch of One UI 7, Samsung has refreshed its app icons, widgets, and status bar, making the operating system more efficient, space-aware, and customizable.
One of the standout features of the S25 Ultra is its new rounded design, which gives the phone a sleeker and more modern look. Additionally, Samsung has decided to axe Bluetooth features from the S Pen, which was previously a useful feature for taking photos.
However, it’s hard to ignore the elephant in the room – Samsung’s messy state of affairs with AI on its phones. The company is still trying to figure out how to use AI in a way that’s genuinely useful, and its attempts so far have been patchy at best. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is no exception, with some AI features that feel like gimmicks and others that are genuinely useful.
For example, the Now Brief feature is a handy tool that provides a snapshot of your day, complete with weather alerts, content recommendations, and health figures. But it’s not clear just how much of this feature benefits from AI. Similarly, Circle to Search is a useful feature that allows you to quickly access search results on your phone, but it’s not entirely clear how AI plays a role in this feature.
My concern is that Samsung is planning to start charging for some of its AI features in the future. This could be a problem, as some of the features that are currently free could become paywalled. While I have no problem paying for a genuinely useful product or service, I’m not sure that I would pay for some of the AI features on the S25 Ultra.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is a great phone with some fantastic software features. But Samsung needs to be careful with its approach to AI, and make sure that its features are genuinely useful and not just gimmicks.
