Unleash the Gaming Frenzy: Massive February 2025 Releases You Won’t Want to Miss
February 2025: The Most Packed Month of Gaming in Recent Memory
As we approach the midpoint of 2024, I’m already getting anxious about the sheer number of massive games set to release in the early months of 2025. It’s not just the sheer volume of titles that’s worrying me, but the fact that many of them are long, sprawling RPGs that will require a significant time commitment to complete.
The latest delay of Assassin’s Creed Shadows by Ubisoft has only added to my concerns. This game was already going to be a significant undertaking, and now it’s been pushed into February, a month that’s already stacked with big releases.
Here’s a look at some of the games with confirmed release dates in February 2025:
- Civilization 7 – February 11
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – February 11
- Assassin’s Creed Shadows – February 14
- Avowed – February 18
- Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 1 – February 18
- Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii – February 28
- Monster Hunter Wilds – February 28
I’m already feeling overwhelmed by the thought of trying to play through all of these games, and I’m not even considering the smaller, indie titles that are also on the horizon.
January 2025 brings the Donkey Kong Country Returns HD remaster, and March sees the release of Two Point Museum. I’m excited to dive into both of these games, but I’m not sure when I’ll have the time to do so.
A Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Anyone?
Do any of you have a spare hyperbolic time chamber I can borrow for a few months while I get caught up on games from 2024? And then I’ll need it in February 2025 so I can get caught up… again.
