With two main paths to choose from, over 72 percent of players opted to talk Solas down and convince him to bind himself to The Veil, a powerful ancient magic that would prevent demons from entering the world.

A Slight Minority Chose Other Options

However, a significant portion of players chose alternative paths. 17 percent decided to trick Solas by using a decoy lyrium dagger, while eight percent engaged in an all-out fight against him. The remaining three percent got the “sacrifice” ending, where Rook, a beloved companion, gave their life to ensure Solas’ binding to The Veil.

Within the 72 percent who chose to talk Solas down, 43 percent had an Inquisitor who romanced Solas and joined him in The Fade. In contrast, 57 percent of players had an Inquisitor who didn’t forgive Solas, either due to not having a romantic relationship with him or not choosing to pardon him.
