Twilight Animated Series Coming to Netflix: Get Ready for a Vampire Adventure

So, buckle up, Twilight fans, because it looks like your favorite vampire romance is coming back in a whole new way. Netflix just dropped the bombshell that it’s adapting “Midnight Sun”, the infamous book that’s been making Edward Cullen’s inner workings public for years. But here’s the twist – it’s going to be an animated series!

The book, written from Edward’s perspective, has had a tumultuous history, with the first 12 chapters leaking online back in 2008. The author, Stephenie Meyer, was so fed up that she decided to post those chapters online herself, essentially saying she was done with the project. But later, she changed her mind and released the full novel in 2020.

Now, it seems like Netflix has convinced her to bring this story to life in animated form. Meyer will be executive producing the show, along with Sinead Daly, who’ll also write the series. There aren’t many details yet – no casting news, release date, or animation studio – but one thing is clear: we need a sparkly animated Edward ASAP.
