It didn’t dawn on me until recently, but I’m a bit of a fiend for work lights. I’m no guru by any means, but it’s not hard to sucker me into paying for a new work light. Maybe it’s because the lighting in my shop kind of sucks, and I spent my entire life working on cars outdoors before I moved in. Or maybe I’m just part moth. Who knows? All I do know is that I’ve found some pretty good deals on work lights over at Amazon.

It’s still trucking after all this time, and I know it’ll come in handy for the carburetor tuning I’ve got on the agenda later today. It’s absolutely worth the couple of bucks it’s selling for.

If you need something a little more substantial, the Neiko rechargeable cordless underhood work light that’s on sale for $83.97 should be on your radar. If my ’69 Charger still had the factory steel hood, this is what I’d be running. But since I swapped to fiberglass, I’ll just have to find other ways to light the engine bay.
