Supercharged Efficiency: Proven UGreen Nexode 65W 3-Port Wall Charger Delivers Speed, Savings, and Space

UGreen Nexode Pro 65W 3-Port Charger Review

The UGreen Nexode Pro 65W 3-Port Charger is designed to keep up with your charging needs, packing three ports – two USB-C and one USB-A – that can power multiple devices at the same time. This compact and fast charger utilizes Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology for improved efficiency and a reduced size.

In our testing, the charger impressed us with its fast charging performance, quickly revitalizing our test devices. Although its design and prongs could use some tweaking, the charger still offers strong overall performance at an affordable price of $55.99 / £44.99 (approximately AU$85).

Testing Performance

During testing, we paired the charger with a Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, the Anker Soundcore Space One Pro, and an LG Tone Free T90S. Charging with all three devices connected to the charger took a reasonable amount of time – the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE fully charged from 0 to 100 percent in approximately 80 minutes.

Charging Speed and Capabilities

While the 65W power output may not be the highest available, the UGreen Nexode Pro still performs well enough for most fast-charging tasks. The primary port (Port 1) provides a stable maximum output of 45W for triple-charging, allowing for rapid rejuvenation of more demanding devices. However, charging with three super-hungry devices might benefit from a charger with a higher power output – something like the Anker 335 Charger, which offers an impressive 100W.

Size and Convenience

The compact size of this charger is largely thanks to its use of Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, making it suitable for use with larger devices while occupying minimal desk or bag space.

Gripe: Folding Prongs Would be Nice

However, our experience with this charger was minorly marred by the rigid design of its prongs, which don’t fold in – meaning they will likely poke slightly out of the pocket or wallet during carry, unlike prongs from competing chargers that can adjust.

Visual Aesthetic: Not Always Stunning

Last, but not least, this charger’s build is functional if a bit dated – the plug is a small metal rectangle while the main unit appears somewhat flat with a minimalist look. But at this price, you cannot always expect class-leading design flair.

Overall, the UGreen Nexode Pro 65W 3-Port Charger represents a fair deal for buyers looking for fast and reliable multi-port charging solutions – even considering a few notable quirks, the charger outshines alternatives like the aforementioned Anker at its price range.
