The Galaxy S25: A Slightly Smaller, Thinner Flagship

The latest rumors surrounding the upcoming Galaxy S25 series have revealed that Samsung has scrapped its plans to use two different application processors (AP) for the different regions. Instead, the company might be forced to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 AP for all Galaxy S25 handsets due to Samsung Foundry’s low yield issues.

Design and Dimensions

Measuring 146.94 mm x 70.46 mm x 7.25 mm, the Galaxy S25 will be slightly smaller and thinner than its predecessor. In comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will measure 162.82 mm x 77.65 mm x 8.25 mm. Application Processors

Samsung was originally expected to use the Exynos chipset for the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ in regions outside of the US, China, and Canada. In the past, there were rumors that Samsung was considering using the Dimensity 9000 to power the Galaxy S22 series, but the plan was ultimately scrapped due to production issues.
