Samsung Galaxy Phones to Receive Revolutionary Pixel-Style Video Editing Capabilities

Samsung to Launch Audio Eraser Feature on Galaxy Phones, Just Like Google’s Pixel 8

Samsung is gearing up to introduce its own version of the audio eraser feature, which was recently added to the Google Pixel 8. The latest beta of the forthcoming Android 15-based Samsung One UI 7 update has revealed the ability to silence unwanted background noise from video recordings made with Galaxy phones.

What Does the Audio Eraser Do?

The feature, spotted in the second beta version, promises to "eliminate distracting noise in videos by adjusting the volume of voices, wind, and other sounds." Essentially, it can rescue your videos from the chaos of background noise, allowing you to share more polished content.

How Does it Work?

The audio eraser works by identifying different sound sources within the video, breaking them down into wind, speech, and noise. Users can then adjust the levels of each track to refine the experience, or opt for an "auto" setting that employs machine learning to make adjustments.

When Can You Expect the Audio Eraser?

Samsung is expected to launch the audio eraser early next year, alongside the delayed Android 15 update for Galaxy devices. It’s also possible that it might be rolled out alongside the rumoured Object Eraser feature, which is also part of the One UI 7 update.

Will Samsung Get Android 15 on Time?

The big question is whether Samsung will be able to deliver Android 15 before the Galaxy S25 arrives in early 2025. Only time will tell.
