Revolutionize Your Wrist: Withings ScanWatch Nova Brilliant Smartwatch Review
Withings has just dropped a new addition to its ScanWatch series at IFA 2024 – the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant Edition. This sleek timepiece is set to hit shelves in November 2024 for £549.95/$599.95/€599.95, and it comes in either Titanium Silver or Silver and Gold. The bad news is that it’s only available in a 39mm size, so it might not be the best fit for those with wider wrists.
But don’t let that deter you – the Nova Brilliant Edition has all the makings of a top-notch smartwatch. It’s got a hybrid design, which means it looks like a traditional watch but packs advanced health and fitness tracking tech and a 5ATM water resistance rating. The analogue-style sapphire glass watch face is topped with an OLED screen that displays your daily stats and notifications with ease. And with a 30-day battery life, you won’t need to worry about it running out of juice anytime soon.
As you’d expect from a Withings smartwatch, the Nova Brilliant Edition is packed with health tracking technologies. There’s an on-demand, medical-grade ECG sensor that can detect atrial fibrillation, a temperature sensor that can detect the onset of an illness by noting irregular fluctuations, and more. You can even monitor your blood oxygen levels (SpO2) on-demand and track any breathing disturbances while you sleep.
All your data syncs directly to the Withings smartphone app, which offers a clear picture of your health alongside a detailed yet easy-to-interpret analysis. And if you’re a Withings Plus subscriber, you’ll also have access to a new in-app service called Cardio Check-Up. This service allows you to submit ECG and heart rate data to be reviewed by board-certified cardiologists within 24 hours. It’s available towards the end of 2024 in the UK, France, and Germany, and costs £8.95/€9.95 a month or £89.50/€99.95 annually.
