Revolutionize Your Viewing Experience with Brighter OLEDs and Intelligent AI-Powered Technology

The Future of Home Entertainment: Samsung’s Exciting Plans for 2025

As the world’s largest TV manufacturer, Samsung is always eagerly anticipated to unveil its latest innovations. And 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the company. From new processors to brighter OLED TVs, and even a new subwoofer, here’s what we know so far.

New and Faster Processors

Samsung’s 2024 saw the introduction of 8K models with a new processor, and now it’s the turn of the 4K screens. The new NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor boasts 128 neural networks, up from 20 in the previous generation, enabling more extensive performance using AI.

The 8K TVs will also receive a new processor, the NQ8 AI Gen 3, which will be twice as fast as its predecessor. This promises to deliver an even more enhanced viewing experience.

More AI-Powered Features and Services

The new 4K TV models will support a range of AI-powered features, including AI Auto HDR Remastering, AI Upscaling, Adaptive Sound, and Colour Booster. The premium 4K TVs will support the ‘Pro’ versions for enhanced performance.

We saw demos of these features in Korea and were impressed by their potential.

Brighter OLED TVs

Samsung Display has claimed that its new QD-OLED panels will be able to hit 4000 nits in some cases. We weren’t told the exact figure, but in general, the S95F will be 30% brighter than the award-winning S95D, all while consuming the same amount of energy.

A Slightly New Tizen Interface

Samsung is updating its user interface for 2025, switching to One UI. While the visual design remains largely the same, there’s a new settings overlay that resembles the Galaxy series.

TV Plus and Art Store

TV Plus will offer 3000 channels and 50,000 VODs, increasing the amount of content on the service. The Art Store will also be expanded across Samsung’s new models.

New Projectors

The Premiere 5 and 7 were shown to us, as was the Premiere 8K projector. The Premiere 5 is a compact, portable projector that comes with a stand and supports touch interaction. The Premiere 7 supports Q Symphony/OTS/Atmos audio and comes with Samsung’s Gaming Hub for streaming games.

A New Flagship Subwoofer

A new subwoofer will be packaged with some of Samsung’s new soundbars in 2025. It’s half the size of the previous model but delivers 300W of power from its dual 8-inch active units.

Eclipsa Audio from Samsung and Google

Eclipsa Audio is a new 3D audio technology developed in collaboration with Google, set to be available across Samsung’s new TVs, from Neo QLED 8K to Crystal UHD models.
