Revolutionize Your Night City Experience: New Patch Brings Fix to Annoying Bug in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.21 Patch: The Good, the Bad, and the Bug-Free
The latest patch for CD Projekt’s sci-fi RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, is here, and it’s packed with fixes, improvements, and a dash of new features. As someone who’s still exploring the streets of Night City, I’m excited to dive into the patch notes and see what’s changed.
The Good:
The Phantom Liberty expansion’s bug that forced me into a fight I didn’t want is finally fixed. I’m not alone in my frustration – the bug was a common issue for many players. Now, I can focus on enjoying the story without the frustration of getting stuck in a grungy back alley.
The addition of DLSS 4 support with Multi Frame Generation for Nvidia RTX 50-series GPUs is a significant boost to performance. With the new Transformer model, the game should look even better and run smoother. While it’s not available until January 30th, it’s exciting to think about the possibilities.
The Bad:
While the patch has many fixes, some minor issues remain. The Photo Mode is still a work in progress, with some characters not saving properly and others being invisible after loading a preset. The vehicle color customization menu has some texture and color inconsistencies, and the Character Creation process has a few visual glitches.
The Bug-Free:
Many of the patch’s fixes address issues that have been plaguing players for months. The randomizer settings in Character Creation now preserve their settings after advancing to the Customize Attributes step. The Piercing Color option is now available in Character Creation, and the Aguilar imprint can be deactivated after meeting with Bennett.
The patch also includes a slew of minor fixes, from addressing inconsistencies in the Surrounding NPCs option to ensuring that camera settings apply correctly. It’s clear that the development team is committed to making the game as enjoyable as possible for players.
