Revolutionize Your Digital Art with the AI-Powered App That’s Outperforming Industry Giants Like Photoshop

The Rise of AI-Driven Photo Editing: How Picsart is Revolutionizing the Industry
The world of photo editing has been dominated by Adobe Photoshop and Affinity Photo for a long time. However, there are whispers of change. Creative professionals are increasingly shifting their loyalties to more affordable and AI-driven solutions. Topaz Labs Photo AI and Photoroom are new kids on the block, offering innovative generative tools and mobile functionality that’s sparking a massive surge in popularity. Meanwhile, Adobe is scrambling to reposition itself in the market, but it needs to act fast to keep up with these upstarts.
One such innovative solution is Picsart, a mobile and web app that accelerates creative projects and processes, allowing users to edit photos and videos as well as generate new ones. It’s quick, easy to use, and relatively inexpensive compared to an Adobe subscription.
I decided to put Picsart to the test, exploring its photo editing tools, including the background removal tool. I loaded in a picture of a child with wispy hair, holding objects, which some background removal tools might find challenging. After pressing the button and waiting a few seconds, I was blown away when Picsart did an almost perfect job, even around the hair. It was unbelievable.
The app’s AI background tool is where things take a sci-fi turn. It inserted the child into a range of different scenes, all perfectly. One option even included her standing on a chair. Anyone would struggle to know she wasn’t originally photographed in that location.
Next, I delved into the AI enhancement tools, where images can be sharpened and defects removed. I gave Picsart a decent image already, but it still managed to provide a higher level of clarity and smoothed out blemishes on the person’s skin. I particularly liked the ability to adjust the intensity of the enhancement.
_GENERATIVE AI FOR THE WIN
I also tested Picsart’s integrated generative AI feature, which can create bespoke imagery. I gave it the prompt "Cute animal like Father Christmas," and it nailed it! I can definitely see myself using this feature on a regular basis to generate unique visuals, although maybe not Father Christmas-themed.
The tools barely scratch the surface of what’s possible with Picsart. There’s also an AI logo maker, an avatar creator, and a range of impressive video tools.
Picsart has opened my eyes to the incredible capabilities of AI-driven photo editing. The ability to use most tools on my iPhone XR is truly exceptional and has opened up new creative possibilities for mobile users. It’s challenged my own creative processes, and I’ve had a lot of fun along the way.
