Revolutionary 1960s Space Watch Revival: Modern Minimalism Meets Nostalgic Charm
Blast Off
Accutron has just launched a new collection of Astronaut watches, and we can’t get enough of them! Each of the four references is powered by a reliable Miyota 9058 movement, which offers 50 hours of power reserve and magnetic resistance up to 16,000 A/m. This movement is also independently operable, allowing you to adjust the hour hand without affecting the timekeeping.
One of the standout features of the new Astronaut watches is the addition of a date complication, making them even more practical for travel. And with the “true” GMT functionality, you can keep track of multiple time zones with ease.
A Colorful Range
There are four versions of the new Astronaut watches to choose from, each with its own unique charm. Three are in stainless steel and are based on the 1968 “T” version, featuring two-tone day/night bezels matched to colorful dials. You can choose from green, red, and blue dials, each with a matching day/night bezel.
The green and red references come with stainless steel “bullet” bracelets, just like last year’s limited edition. But now, they feature a quick-release mechanism for added convenience. The blue reference, on the other hand, is executed in gold-tone stainless steel and comes with a blue Cordura nylon NATO strap with matching gold-tone hardware.
- GMT functionality: The watches boast a true GMT movement, allowing you to keep track of multiple time zones with ease.
- 50 hours of power reserve: The Miyota 9058 movement provides a generous power reserve, ensuring your watch stays accurate and running for an extended period.
- Independent hour hand adjustment: You can adjust the hour hand independently of the timekeeping, making it easy to keep track of multiple time zones.
- Date complication: The addition of a date complication makes the watches even more practical for travel.
