Planet Zoo’s Wildlife Adventure Continues: New DLC and a Roar-some Free Gift Arrives
Planet Zoo Celebrates 5th Anniversary with New DLC and a Free Leopard!
With just a month to go until its 5th anniversary, developer Frontier is getting ready to party in style with some exciting new content for Planet Zoo. As a special treat, they’re releasing a new paid DLC pack and a free leopard for PC players to enjoy.
Introducing the Zookeepers Animal Pack
The new DLC, called the Zookeepers Animal Pack, is set to arrive on October 15th and will bring seven new creatures to the game. These fascinating animals include the Pallas cat, Hamadryas baboon, Markhor, Spectacled bear, African spurred tortoise, Coquerel’s sifaka, and Kirk’s dik-dik. Yes, we giggled at the last one too!
Celebration-Themed Scenery and a New Scenario
In addition to the new animals, the DLC pack will also include 95 new celebration-themed scenery pieces, such as bunting, marquee tents, lanterns, and picnic benches. And, to top it all off, a brand-new scenario will challenge players to plan and execute a 5-year birthday party for the famous Frontier Zoo.
A Free Leopard for PC Players
But that’s not all – a free African Leopard will be joining the party too! As part of Planet Zoo’s free update 1.18, this majestic creature will be available to all PC players starting October 15th. And, as a special bonus, you’ll also receive some free hats and the jelly cake enrichment tool.
What’s Next for Planet Zoo?
While Frontier hasn’t announced any major plans beyond the 5th anniversary, we do know that the studio is hard at work on Planet Coaster 2, the next installment in the popular theme park simulation series. With a release date set for November 6th on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5, fans of the franchise have plenty to look forward to.
