OnePlus 13 Launch Imminent: Everything You Need to Know About the Upcoming Flagship Smartphone

So, it’s official: OnePlus is dropping its next flagship device in October, and we’re betting it’ll be the OnePlus 13. But that’s not all – we also know it’ll be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Yep, you heard that right! Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship processor is looking pretty sweet, and OnePlus is sticking to its tried-and-true formula of using the latest high-end Snapdragon chips.

Now, about that Weibo post from OnePlus China president Li Jie Louis, where he spilled the beans about the upcoming device. Louis confirmed that a new OnePlus flagship (i.e., the OnePlus 13) will be launched in October, and also mentioned that it’ll be powered by “the latest generation of flagship chips” – aka the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Talk about a no-brainer!

We’re still waiting to see what else OnePlus has in store for us, but rumors suggest a new design with an overhauled camera housing, an IP68/IP69 rating, a 6.8-inch 2K screen, and a massive battery (6,000mAh+). Not to mention a triple rear camera system with a 50MP LYT-808 main camera and two 50MP LYT-600 cameras (3x and ultrawide). It’s all starting to sound like a pretty sweet package!

Of course, there’s one major catch: this OnePlus 13 launch is likely to be a China-only affair at first. Yeah, we know, it’s frustrating to have to wait a bit longer for global availability. But hey, at least we have a few weeks to speculate about the details before the device drops.
