Get ready for some exciting gaming news from Nvidia! According to a recent blog post, the company is planning to release a native GeForce Now app for Steam Deck "later this year". This development is expected to make it easier to install the cloud gaming service on the portable gaming device. The native app will support impressive features like up to 4K resolution, 60 frames per second, and HDR when connected to a TV.

What’s so special about this app?

• Easier installation process: No need to rely on third-party scripts anymore!
• Higher resolution and framerate: Enjoy 4K graphics and 60 fps for an immersive gaming experience.
• Support for HDR: Experience the power of High Dynamic Range on your TV.

Not only that, but Nvidia also plans to bring GeForce Now to some major virtual reality (VR) headsets later this month. These devices include the Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest 3 and 3S, and Pico "virtual- and mixed-reality devices". When GeForce Now version 2.0.70 is released, users will be able to access an "extensive library of games" by visiting play.geforcenow.com in their browser.
