Legacy Lives On: Best Caseology Cases Survive the Brand’s Demise

Caseology and Cyrill Bids Farewell: A New Era for Spigen Cases
TL;DR
- Popular case makers Caseology and Cyrill have closed their doors for good.
- Their parent brand, Spigen, will now release the most popular Caseology cases.
- Cyrill’s more feminine cases may never come back.
As the Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup prepares to launch, we’re met with some bittersweet news. Caseology and Cyrill, two popular case brands, have announced their closure. But don’t worry, Spigen, their parent company, has got you covered.
I’ve consistently recommended Caseology’s Parallax and Nano Pop cases in my annual phone case roundups. These unique and affordable options have made them a great fit for most people. Unfortunately, as of the start of 2025, those options are no longer available.
In an internal decision made in Q4 of last year, both Caseology and Cyrill concluded their operations and ceased production by the end of 2024. While some products will remain in circulation until stock runs out, it’s the end of an era for these brands.
The good news is that Spigen, the parent company, will now produce the most popular Caseology cases, including the Parallax and Nano Pop. This means they’ll likely be available for the new Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup. In the past, Caseology has produced more colorful and playful cases than its parent company, so we can only hope this trend continues.
However, the fate of Cyrill is less certain. As Spigen’s more feminine brand, its cases didn’t quite align with the rest of Spigen’s catalog. Unfortunately, it’s unclear what will happen to their popular floral prints and cute stickers.
The decision to merge the brands under a single roof is logical, considering Spigen has consistently been the most popular case brand in our polling. With the popularity of their cases, it’s no surprise they’d take over production of their sister brands.
So, what do you think? Are you sad to see Caseology and Cyrill go? Will you miss their unique cases? Let us know in the comments!
