Nvidia Teases Impending Arrival of RTX 50 Series GPUs

Nvidia is getting close to unveiling its highly anticipated RTX 50 series graphics processing units (GPUs), and the company’s latest move suggests that the release is just around the corner. A recent teaser from Nvidia features a shadowy PC that, when brightened, appears to be equipped with a new and unfamiliar GPU design.

What We Know So Far

While the design of the GPU is unknown, VideoCardz suggests that it could be an RTX 5080 or 5070 Ti model. The leaks also indicate that Nvidia may reveal as many as five RTX 50 series GPUs, including the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and 5070 Ti.

Earlier this month, leaks from Zotac and Acer hinted at the imminent release of the RTX 50 series GPUs. Moreover, VideoCardz reported on an RTX 5080 leak from MSI featuring 16GB of GDDR7 memory.

The GeForce LAN 50 and Jensen Huang’s Keynote

The GeForce LAN 50, an upcoming LAN party event, takes place from January 4th to 6th and will feature Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote on January 6th at 9:30 PM ET. Given the timing, it’s possible that Nvidia may use this opportunity to officially reveal the RTX 50 series GPUs.
