Honkai: Star Rail 2.5 Release Date: Get the Latest Updates on the New Chapter
Honkai: Star Rail is doing something sweet – its 2.5 patch is dropping a day earlier than usual! That means you get all the new content 24 hours ahead of schedule, and I know I’m excited. As part of this patch, we’ll finally see the start of the Luminary Wardance Ceremony on the Xianzhou Luofu, along with the addition of three new characters: Feixiao, Lingsha, and Moze.
So, when’s the maintenance for this new patch? Honestly, things are a little weird with the schedule – it usually drops every six weeks, but this one’s dropping a day earlier. Keep that in mind, ’cause it affects the whole timeline. Here are the maintenance times to expect:
Honkai: Star Rail will be down for maintenance on Monday, Sept. 9, or Tuesday, Sept. 10 (depending on your time zone), for approximately five hours. Make sure to burn those fuel supplies before maintenance kicks in – unless you’re holding onto them for the new battle pass, that is! It’ll kick off once the game’s back online.
Now, about that release time for version 2.5… Server downtime might sneak in some extra time or go earlier than expected, but the estimated times to expect it to go live are… well, kinda early! Hoyoverse tends to stick to its maintenance schedules, but you never know – sometimes maintenance wraps up an hour or two earlier than expected! Don’t get too carried away just yet, but it’s always nice when things run smoothly.
As for the new patch’s highlights… We’re getting three fresh faces: Feixiao (Wind Hunt, 5-star), Lingsha (Fire Abundance, 5-star), and Moze (Lightning Hunt, 4-star). Expect the grand Wardance Ceremony on Xianzhou Luofu, which’ll likely conclude the prison story arc. And, yes, the Divergent Universe gets some love, too, with new Planar Ornaments to snag! The Wardance Ceremony event is the main course, and I’m genuinely hyped.
