Xbox Repairs Now Available at uBreakiFix Stores Across the US

Microsoft has partnered with uBreakiFix to offer in-person Xbox repairs at nearly 700 participating store locations across the US. Starting January 20th, you’ll be able to get your Xbox fixed at a uBreakiFix store near you. Just check with your local store to confirm they’re part of the Xbox repair program.

Expanded Repairability Program

Microsoft is expanding its repairability program to include the white Xbox Series S, white Xbox Series X digital edition, and special edition Xbox Series X “Galaxy Black” model. We’ve reached out to Microsoft to see if the black Xbox Series X with a disc drive and black Xbox Series S with 1TB storage will also be eligible for repairs at uBreakiFix stores.

DIY Repairs Made Easier

If you’re comfortable with DIY repairs, you’re in luck. iFixit now offers genuine Xbox parts and step-by-step repair guides, making it easier to fix your Xbox yourself. They also offer parts and guides for repairing Surface devices.

Sustainable Packaging

In other news, Microsoft has announced that the packaging for the white Xbox Series S, white Xbox Series X digital edition, and Xbox Series X “Galaxy Black” model is now fully paper and fiber-based, eliminating all single-use plastics.
