Google Play Store’s New Look: Redesigned UI for Seamless Installation Experience
Google Play Store’s Latest UI Update: A Fresh Look at App Installation
Google is always striving to improve the Play Store experience, and the latest development is a revamped installation UI. While it’s unclear if this new look will make it to a public release, Android Authority has spotted the changes through an APK teardown.
A Sneak Peek at the New Installation UI
As you can see, the new installation UI places the app being installed at the top of the page, with the cancel button positioned off to the right. Below the cancel button, you’ll find a toggle to open the app automatically after installation. Additionally, there’s a new section listing compatible devices, along with an install button to the right of each device for easy installation on other devices.
Other Recent UI Tweaks and Features
This latest UI update comes on the heels of another recent change that hides the navigation bar when scrolling down. As for when we can expect this update to roll out, it’s unclear at this time.
The Google Play Store has been busy adding new features, including the option to allow updates for sideloaded apps. Sideloaded apps are those downloaded outside of the Play Store, and it’s exciting to think about getting updates on those through the Play Store.
Google’s Efforts to Improve the Play Store
I must say, I’m impressed by Google’s relentless pursuit of improving the Play Store. It’s great to see them constantly working to bring a more useful and visually appealing app to users.
