The designers of Frostpunk 2 have introduced that it’s going to have full help for mods through a modding software referred to as FrostKit. Whereas mods have been an oft-requested characteristic for the primary Frostpunk, 11 bit studios had used a proprietary, in-house engine to develop it. Switching to Unreal Engine has allowed them to launch a local mod improvement software alongside Frostpunk.
“With the FrostKit it is possible for you to to create customized maps, populate them with customized fashions, and set their new cities – whether or not historical, cosmic, or differentiated in hundreds of different methods from the unique frosty-apocalypse setting – in opposition to customized eventualities,” stated 11 bit studios within the announcement.
