Exclusive Leaks: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s Power-Packed S Pen to Axe These Key Features
Galaxy S25: No Bluetooth Support for S Pen, But What Does That Mean?

The latest leak suggests that the upcoming Galaxy S25 will indeed feature an S Pen, but it’s without Bluetooth compatibility. This news could be a cost-cutting measure, but it’s not necessarily good news for some users.
At its core, the S Pen is a stylus that allows for easy writing on the display. But its functionality goes beyond that, often relying on Bluetooth connectivity to work. For example, the side button on the S Pen can trigger various tasks, such as launching a favorite app, acting as a camera shutter button, controlling music playback, and even formatting text in the Samsung Notes app. Users can customize which tasks the button triggers, making it a valuable tool for many.
According to a leak by Isvan Agarwal on Twitter, the S Pen on the Galaxy S25 will lack Bluetooth support, which means it’s unlikely to have buttons either. This could be a way for Samsung to save battery life or cut costs on the device, as an S Pen with Bluetooth does require charging. On the other hand, the stylus can be used without a power source if it doesn’t need Bluetooth.
For long-time S Pen users, this might be a significant loss of functionality. New users, however, might not even miss it. Additionally, some Galaxy S Ultra users might not even use the stylus that often. It’s a tough pill to swallow, even for the most casual users.
