Elden Ring Nightreign Co-op Adventure: Register Now for Early Access
Elden Ring: Nightreign Network Test Confirmed for February
The Elden Ring team has announced a network test for their upcoming co-op spin-off, Nightreign, which will take place in February. This preliminary verification trial will allow a select group of testers to play a portion of the game before its launch.
What to Expect
The network test will serve as a large-scale network load test, examining various technical verifications of online systems. Those who secure a spot will be able to play a portion of the game, giving them a sneak peek at the action before its release.
Registration and Platforms
Registration for the network test will begin on January 10th, and will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
A Parallel Universe
Nightreign takes place in a parallel universe to Elden Ring, where players must outlast a three-day-and-night cycle, making split decisions about combat and exploration across changing maps to become strong enough to take down terrifying bosses at the end of each day. The game features eight set characters, each with unique abilities, and a shrinking map size each night, making cooperation essential to succeed.
Defeat and Relics
While individual runs may end in defeat, unsuccessful attempts will grant players relics to customize and upgrade their characters, allowing them to tailor their playstyle to their preferences.
Elden Ring: Nightreign – A New Experience
As FromSoftware boss Hidetaki Miyazaki confirmed, Elden Ring 2 is not in development, but this standalone spin-off is expanding upon the franchise. With the widely praised expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, Elden Ring: Nightreign is shaping up to be an unparalleled experience in the Elden Ring universe.
