Deals On Everyday Carry Gear You Don't Want to Miss

We know you guys love great deals on everyday carry tools and equipment. These posts are a close second to all our power tools deals. But, we also know you like some variety. So I try to avoid the typical list of all the same multi-tools we’ve seen dozens of times. A few things in here still fit that category, but there isn’t a Leatherman or Gerber in sight this week.(There is a SOG, it’s a good deal I couldn’t pass it up.)

For tools, I took a more classic route. I picked out a couple of smoking deals on what some consider to be the original multi-tool. OK, a sharpened rock was probably the true OG EDC. But I’m going somewhere in the middle and referring to the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. The Victorinox Hiker pocket knife is currently on sale for $25.00 which is 36% off list price. It may not have pliers, but it does have standard Phillips screwdrivers and a selection of blades, and it’ll pop the cap off a bottle. If you think things are going to require a bit more utilitarian firepower, you can step up to the Swiss Army Ranger pocket knife for $56.50.

If you’re like me and you like having a bag with you to carry your stuff, you have room for some actual tools. Wera Tools isn’t a household name in the US, but the German brand is a favorite of tool nerds. The Wera Kraftform F1 Ratchet, Hex Key Set for $84.99 can get you out of a lot of messes that most multitools couldn’t touch. Wera says this kit was for window technicians, but the variety of tools is great for just about anyone.

Speaking of bags, I know there are tons available all over the internet. I like this Frogg Toggs Water-Resistant Sling Pack for 60 bucks. It’s designed for fishing tackle, but we all know tackle boxes are just well-organized toolboxes, right? It’s currently $20 off at Cabela’s. The tomtoc compact EDC sling bag is similar functionally, but it’s more understated design. It’s for electronics, but all those pockets and dividers make it great for carrying tools, a knife, or even a pen like this Cerakote finished Fischer Space Pen.
