Costco Now Sells Its Own Crazy-Affordable “Hoka Dupe” Sneaker
Another day, another Costco find. Only this time, it isn’t vodka or golf balls but an ultra-affordable sneaker that the internet has dubbed a “blatant Hoka dupe.”
The shoe, which Costco sells under its in-house Kirkland Signature line, does have an actual name: the Comfort Walker. It comes in black or white. And yes, it really does look suspiciously like a chunky Hoka shoe, only without the bright colors.
According to sources, the shoe arrived at Costco in April but it’s starting to gain widespread attention with write-ups on popular fashion blogs like Highsnobiety.
Like with anything at Costco, prices range by region but some stores seem to be selling pairs of the shoe for as little as $19.97. Not bad for a comfortable pair of sneakers, no matter how you slice it.
Walk the talk
To be clear, the Comfort Walker is not a real Hoka shoe, as far as the internet can tell. Typically, Costco doesn’t disclose the manufacturers behind its Kirkland Signature brand (despite plenty of rumors about who makes the laundry detergent)
It would also be unwise to assume Hoka had anything to do with the Comfort Walker just because of its chunky sole.
