Call of Duty Pro’s Desperate Plea: ‘Trash Lobbies’ or Bust

Donovan Mitchell’s Gaming Struggles: A Raspy Voice and Frustration

A Rare NBA Player’s Gaming Challenges

Donovan Mitchell, the talented shooting guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers, is an exceptional basketball player. However, his skills on the court don’t seem to translate to the world of gaming. In a recent press appearance, Mitchell opened up about his struggles with Call of Duty, admitting that his raspy voice is a result of screaming at his gaming companions.

“I’ve been playing Call of Duty with these kids, screaming at them and stuff, that’s where the voice goes,” Mitchell said. “It’s been rough… I genuinely try to get better, which makes me even more upset. I watch film on my phone, on TikTok. I’m still terrible. As you can tell, I put a lot of effort into Call of Duty.”

A Frustrating Experience

Mitchell’s gaming struggles seem to stem from being paired with players who are significantly better than him. He joked that he’s asked to be placed in “trash lobbies” where he can compete with others of similar skill level.

“I reached out to Call of Duty,” Mitchell said. “Like, ‘Hey, put me in the trash lobbies, that’s where I belong.’ We’ll see what happens.”
