AT&T 5G Issues with Pixel 9 Pro Fold: Troubleshooting Tips for Seamless Network Connectivity
AT&T Subscribers Report Issues with Pixel 9 Pro Fold 5G Connectivity
Many AT&T subscribers are experiencing problems with 5G connectivity on their Pixel 9 Pro Fold devices. Several users have taken to social media to express their frustration with slow speeds and dropped connections.
The issue is particularly puzzling since the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is not officially supported by AT&T, and most unlocked devices can work with any carrier that supports the necessary bands. Despite this, users are reporting that their devices are unable to access true 5G speeds on AT&T’s network, and are instead stuck with LTE connections.
Temporary Workaround
One temporary solution users have found is to remove the SIM card, insert it into another device, and then transfer it back to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. However, this fix only lasts for a short period, and the device will eventually revert back to LTE or “5Ge” connectivity.
No Official Word from AT&T
There has been no official statement from AT&T regarding the issue, but some users are speculating that it may be related to incorrect provisioning from the carrier. The Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program may be to blame, as it does not guarantee that a device will work correctly on AT&T’s network.
No Permanent Solution Yet
Until further information is available, it seems that users are stuck with limited connectivity options. Google has been reached out for comment, and we will update this article if a response is received.
