Arc’teryx Unleashes Ultimate Winter Hiking Shoe: Rugged, Waterproof, and Ready for Adventure

The Kragg Insulated Shoe: Arc’teryx’s Winter Wonder

While it’s easy to get excited about the new features, it’s also worth noting that the Kragg Insulated Shoe shares a lot of its DNA with its original counterpart. The combination of the Vibram Megagrip outsole, rubber toe cap and sidewall, and knitted stretch tongue promises a winning combination of grip, protection, and comfort.

However, it’s the addition of PrimaLoft Gold insulation that really sets this shoe apart. While Arc’teryx doesn’t give away the exact amount, it’s comparable to 750 fill goose down, offering superior performance to natural fibers when wet.

Pricing and Availability

The Kragg Insulated Shoe is now available for $180, a $20 premium over the original Kragg. If you’re eager to get your hands on one, you’ll currently find it in two colors: Canvas tan with a tonal outsole and bright yellow Euphoria with black rubber.
