Yes, the RTX 5000 series is just around the corner, but there are some incredible value choices on the soon-to-be-older RTX 4000 models in various retailer’s clearance sales. You can snag a machine with an RTX 4060 for as low as $799, which is roughly the same price we saw during Black Friday in November.

Two Super Cheap RTX 4060 Gaming Laptop Deals

Two of my top picks for affordable RTX 4060-equipped options are the Lenovo LOQ and the Acer Nitro 5, both available at Best Buy. The Lenovo LOQ is priced at $799.99 (was $999), while the Acer Nitro 5 is available for $799.99 (was $1,099). Both machines feature the mid-range RTX 4060 GPU, a decent chipset, and 16GB of RAM.

While you’ll still need to make do with a relatively modest 512GB storage drive, these laptops are great starting points for casual or budget gamers looking for decent 1080p gaming performance. I’m particularly fond of the Lenovo with its Ryzen 7 chipset, but the Acer Nitro 5 is no slouch with its 13th gen Intel Core i7 chip.

You can expect similar performance from both machines, so consider them if you’re in the market for a budget-friendly gaming laptop in the run-up to this year’s Presidents’ Day sales.
