Unleash Seamless Multi-Calendar Management with Google’s Latest Update
Streamlining Your Google Calendar Experience: A Potential UI Change
As an avid user of Google Calendar, you’re likely accustomed to navigating through multiple calendars with ease. Currently, when you go to add a new event, you need to tap through to a list of all available options. But, Google appears to be considering a change to this mechanic, which could simplify the process. In this article, we’ll dive into what this potential update could mean for your Google Calendar experience.
A Closer Look at the Change
While digging through a recent Calendar update, we stumbled upon a hidden UI feature that shows all your calendars in a horizontal row on the event creation screen. This means you wouldn’t need to tap through to a list of options, but instead, get a bird’s-eye view of all your calendars in one go.

Implications for Multicalendar Users
If you’re juggling multiple accounts, you’d still need to tap on the email associated with your account to switch between them. However, once you select a calendar, you should be able to access all its associated calendars in one convenient row. This could be especially helpful when entering in a lot of events at once, such as when planning a trip.
The Road Ahead
As this is the first we’ve seen of this UI refinement, it’s entirely possible that it could still change form before Google settles on an interface it really likes. We’ll keep you updated on further progress as we spot any future changes to Calendar.
