Unleash Next-Level Gaming with Asus RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti Laptops: CES 2025 Reveal Sparks Excitement

Breaking: Asus Laptops with RTX 5000 GPUs Spotted Online

Asus is gearing up to launch a new lineup of gaming laptops with Nvidia’s next-gen Blackwell mobile GPUs, and it seems like online retailers have already spilled the beans. According to leaks, we can expect to see five different Asus laptops featuring Nvidia RTX 5000 graphics cards, including a beastly ROG Strix notebook.

What’s in Store?

The Asus ROG Strix G835, for instance, is rumored to pack an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX (Arrow Lake) processor, 64GB of DDR5 system memory, and a 2048 x 1536 resolution 18-inch display. Meanwhile, the Asus ROG Zephyrus GU605 will allegedly offer options for three Nvidia GPUs: the RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti. This notebook is expected to feature an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H CPU and 64GB of DDR5 system RAM, with a 16-inch screen.

The Big Picture

Two other Asus ROG Strix Scar 18 laptops and a ROG Strix G16 model have also had their specs leaked online, each running with RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti GPUs respectively. While we can’t confirm everything just yet, these leaks seem to back up previous rumors suggesting we’ll see RTX 5000 laptop GPUs at CES 2025, alongside Blackwell desktop graphics cards.

The Desktop Connection

It’s interesting to note that Nvidia launched its current-gen of mobile GPUs at CES 2023, presenting a full range of vanilla models. This time around, we might see a more varied lineup, including the RTX 5070 Ti, which has been spotted in the wild. On the desktop front, rumors suggest we’ll see RTX 5090 and 5080 models at CES, possibly with the RTX 5070 or RTX 5070 Ti making an appearance as well.

The Verdict

Is the mobile RTX 5070 Ti’s presence a sign that we’ll see it on the desktop too? Only time will tell, but it’s clear that Asus and Nvidia are gearing up for a big launch at CES 2025. We might even see Nvidia DLSS 4, a next-gen version of the company’s popular deep learning super sampling technology. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the show!
