The Upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim: Thin, Powerful, and Camera-Heavy

As we inch closer to the release of Samsung’s next flagship series, rumors about the Galaxy S25 series have been piling up. One of the most recent ones comes from a renowned leaker from China, who spilled the beans on the device’s slim yet powerful design. But what about its camera capabilities? Well, another tipster has now shared a purported list of specs, and it looks like the Galaxy S25 Slim is going to be a major power player in the camera game.

Thin and Powerful

The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to arrive with a 6.66-inch display, the same size as the S25+, and a battery that will pack between 4,700 mAh and 5,000 mAh. This is set to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which promises to deliver exceptional performance. It’s safe to say that this device will be a powerhouse, both in terms of its screens’ brightness and processing power.

A Camera Showstopper

But the real star of the show is the camera system. Reports suggest that the S25 Slim will come equipped with a 200 MP main camera featuring Samsung’s ISOCELL HP5 sensor, as well as a 50 MP ultrawide camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom – all using the same ISOCELL JN5 sensor. This is an impressive lineup, and it’s rumored to be the same configuration as the S25+, so camera enthusiasts will have a lot to look forward to.

Launch Schedule

As previously rumored, the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to launch slightly later than the rest of the Galaxy S25 family. We can look forward to seeing it at Samsung’s upcoming event in late January, after which it will hit stores sometime between April and June, in the second quarter of 2025.
