Starting now, new Android Telefónica customers in Spain, Latin America, Germany, and the UK will have access to Epic’s games, including Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe, right out of the box. This means that players will be able to easily download these popular games and enjoy them on their new devices.

According to Epic, this partnership will bring benefits to mobile players across the Telefónica network, with plans to expand the collaboration over the next year.
Competition in the Market
This move comes after Apple’s decision to boot Fortnite from the App Store in 2020 due to Epic’s attempt to bypass contractually mandated payment mechanisms within the game. This led to a public war between Epic’s CEO, Tim Sweeney, and Apple in US courts. With this new partnership, Epic is now giving Android players a new way to access their games and get away from Apple’s control.
