Explore Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, Naughty Dog’s Futuristic Adventure

The Future is Now: Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet

As we thrilled to the finale of The Game Awards, we were treated to a highly anticipated world premiere: Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Developed by the renowned Naughty Dog, this futuristic space opera is a love letter to the futurepunk vibes of classic anime series like Cowboy Bebop. In fact, the game’s director, Neil Druckmann, mentioned in an announcement that it stars a space bounty hunter – a nod to the likes of Dirty Pair, which even made its way into the trailer in the form of an anime playing in the background.

Get Ready for a Daring Adventure

In Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, you’ll take on the role of Jordan A. Mun, a skilled bounty hunter, stranded on Sempiria, a planet that has been cut off from the rest of the universe for over 600 years. To escape its orbit, Jordan will need to use all her wits and skills.

Meet the Talent

Starring as Jordan is Tati Gabrielle, known for her role as Prudence Night in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Kumail Nanjiani, who makes a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance as a bounty Jordan’s after. Interestingly, Gabrielle was also part of the cast of another Naughty Dog project, the Uncharted movie, playing Jo Braddock. To top it all off, Grammy-winning duo Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, known for their award-winning movie soundtracks, are set to compose the music for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

Release Date TBA

While we don’t have a release date just yet, rest assured that Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is in development for the PS5. With its all-star cast, stunning visuals, and captivating storyline, this game is shaping up to be a must-play for fans of science fiction and action-packed adventures.
