Global Release of Xiaomi Pad 7 to Roll Out Soon
Xiaomi Pad 7’s International Launch Is Closer Than You Think
Xiaomi’s newest Pad series, the Xiaomi Pad 7, made waves when it launched in China alongside the Pad 7 Pro in October. One thing on everyone’s minds since then has been the international availability of these slates. Well, buckle up, folks, because recent rumors suggest that the standard Pad 7 may just be headed to other countries – including India, judging by a recent Geekbench 6.3 appearance.
The Rise of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 Chipset
As we suspected, the Indian Pad 7 model number is making the rounds, and alongside its Geekbench debut comes evidence of the same trusty Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset used by the Chinese variant. To recap, this powertrain is considered the best mid-range chipset ever made, offering a whopping dual-core score of 1,877 and multi-core score of 5,106. The benchmarks paired 12GB of RAM with Android 15 under Xiaomi’s HyperOS to achieve these impressive figures.
A Match Made in Heaven: Same Spec Expectations
The data released through Geekbench shows almost no difference between this prototype Indian Pad 7 and the Chinese model that got our attention earlier this year. We’re therefore eagerly anticipating a similar laundry list of features, which translates to:
- A majestic 11.2-inch LCD touchscreen with a swift 144 Hz refresh rate, 800-nit peak brightness, and razor-sharp 2136×3200 resolution.
- A storage capacity range of 128/256 GB.
- RAM allocations in 8/12 GB varieties.
- Triple-treat camera setup comprising an impressive 13 MP main lens, 8 MP front-facing camera, and support for 128,256 GB storage expandable via microSD (card not included).
- Fuel for your digital indulgence provided by an enormous 8,850mAh power plant with rapid 45W wired charging capabilities.
