Unlock Instant Translation with Enhanced Features and Redo Options on Google Translate
Google Translate is About to Get a Whole Lot Richer and More Seamless
When it comes to free translation apps, Google Translate is hard to beat. With its array of features, including Live Translate, which can turn your phone into a mobile interpreter, it’s no wonder it’s a fan favorite. And now, Google is working on taking Instant Translate to the next level.
What’s in Store for Instant Translate?
Recently, the folks at Android Authority discovered that Google is planning to roll out some exciting updates to Instant Translate. By digging into the latest version of Google Translate, v8.20.71.687383449.1, they found two key changes on the horizon.
Undo Deletions and More Functional Instant Translate Window
First off, it looks like Google is finally addressing the issue of being unable to perform other actions while the Instant Translate preview window is open. Currently, you can’t hear the speech output, copy the result, or access other grammar tips until you exit the window. But with this update, you’ll be able to use all these features while the preview window is open, giving you more control and flexibility.
A Breath of Fresh Air with Undo Deletions
But that’s not all – Google is also working on introducing an undo feature for deleted translations. Currently, if you accidentally delete a translation, it’s gone for good. However, it seems that this update will allow you to correct your mistake and undo a deletion, which is a big relief for anyone who’s ever accidentally deleted something they didn’t mean to.
What’s on the Horizon?
At this point, these features are still in development, and there’s no word yet on when Google plans to release them. But with these updates on the way, it’s clear that Google is committed to making Instant Translate more seamless and user-friendly.
Our Verdict
I, for one, am excited about these developments. The undo feature, in particular, has the potential to save a lot of frustration and heartache for users who’ve ever accidentally deleted a translation. Here’s to hoping these updates roll out soon!
