Unlock Your Health Records with EASE: Samsung’s Innovative New Feature
Samsung Health: Now Easier to Access Health Records, Manage Medications, and Track Daily Food Intake
Samsung is rolling out an update to its Health app, designed to make it simpler to access health records, manage medications, and track daily food intake. The revamped features will be available in the United States.
What’s New:
- Health Records: Samsung has partnered with b.well Connected Health to allow users to access their medical records from clinics, hospitals, and major health networks within the app. This includes medical history such as vaccinations, hospital visits, prescription records, and more. The feature also provides insights and alerts for preventative care, like recommending medical tests or actions.
- Medication Tracking: The update enables users to scan medicine bottles and add them to their personal medication list. The camera feature will automatically recognize the pill bottle, and users can check adherence levels and monitor medication progress. The feature also warns about over 960 types of allergies and potential reactions to medications. This feature is initially rolling out in South Korea and India.
- Barcode Scanning for Food: The update introduces a barcode scanning function for food, allowing users to log food items and access information on the food’s name, calories, and nutritional facts. This feature is launching in the US and select European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Poland, with plans to expand to more countries in the future.
