Unbeatable Value: 2025 GMC Sierra EV Launched at $10,000 Cheaper than 2024 Model

The Electric Truck Revolutionaries: GMC Sierra EV Gets a Price Cut, but It’s Still a Luxury Affair

The electric truck market has a pricing problem, but truck manufacturers are taking notice. In a bold move, GMC has slashed the price of its newest electric truck option, the 2025 GMC Sierra EV Denali. This luxury electric truck isn’t cheap, but thanks to the price cut, it’s now $10,000 more affordable than its 2024 counterpart. But what are you getting for your money?

Design

The 2025 GMC Sierra EV Denali maintains a traditional look, unlike the futuristic designs of its competitors, the Rivian R1T and Tesla Cybertruck. The exterior design is sleek and modern, with prominent hood sculpting, large wheels, and a bold GMC logo. While it may not be as radical as some of its rivals, it still exudes a sense of luxury and style.

Interior and Tech

The interior is where the Sierra EV truly shines. It’s designed with luxury in mind, featuring premium leather upholstery, a large display for infotainment, and modern-looking wood panels. The infotainment system is built on Android Automotive, but unfortunately, it doesn’t support CarPlay or Android Auto.

Performance

The Sierra EV Denali is built for those who crave power and control. The dual-motor electric powertrain produces 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque, making it capable of towing up to 10,500 pounds. The air suspension and Crab Walk feature (first seen in the Hummer EV) allow for precise parking and a higher level of control.

Range and Charging

The Sierra EV Denali is no slouch, with an impressive 390-mile range, making it one of the longest-range electric trucks on the market. You can opt for a more expensive trim level that boasts an even more impressive 460 miles of range. The truck also supports fast charging, with the ability to gain 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes at a 350-kilowatt charging station.

Price and Availability

The GMC Sierra EV Denali may not be the most affordable option, but it’s expected to be joined by two new, more budget-friendly trims (the Elevation and AT4) in early 2025. Until then, if you’re willing to invest in the luxury electric truck, you’ll be able to get your hands on one starting soon, as it’s already shipping to dealerships.
