Savvy Buyers Rejoice: 2025 Ford Bronco Base Model Revives Off-Road Legacy
Ford’s Play: The 2025 Bronco Base is Coming Back – But What’s the Price Tag?
After a two-year hiatus, the Ford Bronco’s entry-level Base trim is returning for 2025. Screenshots and photos of the new order guides have made their way online, and I was excited to share the news with the private Ford Bronco Base Facebook group (where, okay, I may have thought about buying one myself back in the day). While we don’t yet know the official price, I’d bet that the entry price for the Bronco will drop significantly.
A Nostalgic Return?
For those who missed out on the original Base model, this new iteration offers a chance to relive the excitement of the iconic off-roader’s introduction. My cousin, for instance, snagged a two-door Base model in Race Red with a seven-speed manual transmission back in the day, and I’m sure many would love to do the same.
What to Expect?
The 2025 Bronco Base will likely come with the seven-speed manual transmission and 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. I’m still trying to find out if the 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 and 10-speed automatic will be available on the entry-level trim as well. The Sasquatch Package, a popular option, will return, allowing buyers to get a Bronco with 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler MTs, upgraded suspension, a 4.7 final drive ratio, and front and rear lockers from the factory.
Other Updates and Details
The Stroppe Edition trim, announced earlier, will also be part of the 2025 lineup, along with the Free Wheeling Package on Big Bend models and new paint colors. Some color options, like Cactus Gray and Iconic Silver, will no longer be available. While we await the official price of the 2025 Bronco Base, we know it will be a game-changer for those looking for an affordable off-roader.
