Fitbit Revamps Its Color Palette in a Surprise Update
Fitbit App Update Brings New Colors and Redesigned Devices Page
The Fitbit app has received a small but notable update, introducing new colors and a redesigned "Add more device" page. The app’s color palette has been tweaked to provide a more modern look, with darker backgrounds and lighter text. This update is likely a precursor to the long-awaited dark theme, which will allow users to switch to a darker visual style.
Old vs. New
To give you an idea of the changes, we’ve included a before-and-after comparison of the app’s colors. The new design features a more muted color scheme, with a focus on blues and whites.

Redesigned Devices Page
The "Add more device" page has also been revamped, featuring filters for different device types, such as smartwatches, trackers, and scales. This should make it easier for users to find and add compatible devices to their Fitbit account.
Other Changes
In other news, the @fitbit account on X (formerly Twitter) is no longer active, with announcements now coming from @madebygoogle. This change applies to X, Instagram, and Facebook, while @FitbitSupport remains active on X.
