Exclusive Google Pixel 9a Colors Revealed: Two Bold New Shades Uncovered
Google Pixel 9a Colors Revealed, Along with Tall, Wide, and Slim Design
Just yesterday, we saw renders of the Google Pixel 9a, and now the same source has shared a list of colors the phone will allegedly come in. Android Headlines claims that the Pixel 9a will be available in four stunning shades: Porcelain (off-white), Obsidian (black), Peony (pink), and Iris (bluish-purple). For those familiar with the Pixel lineup, you may recall that the Pixel 8a comes in the same Porcelain and Obsidian options, but will be bidding farewell to the Aloe (green) and Bay (blue) colors that are expected to be axed for the upcoming model.
Size Matters
Interestingly, Android Headlines has also released dimensions for the Pixel 9a, which appear to be 154 x 73 x 8.5mm. When compared to the Pixel 8a, which measures 152.1 x 72.7 x 8.9mm, we can see that the Pixel 9a is indeed slightly taller, wider, and thinner.
Will a Smaller Battery Offset the Design Change?
However, some concerns arise when considering these dimensions and the camera setup, which reportedly sits almost flush with the back of the phone. This change could lead to a smaller battery capacity, as camera components would occupy more of the internal space.
Design, Design, and More Design
The reported design of the Pixel 9a represents a major departure from its predecessors and will set it apart, for better or worse, from other Pixel 9 models.
What to Expect in the Future?
Apart from the camera design and colors, details about the Pixel 9a remain scarce. But we’re likely to see more revelations through leaks and rumors as the launch draws near. With a expected Tensor G4 chipset on board and a probable launch in May, we can’t wait to see how this mysterious device unfolds.
